Tour Overview

Tours start off with a brief discussion of the rich history of beer and its ingredients, the story of AleWerks and our unique American hand-crafted ales, and a guided look at our brewhouse and the process of brewing. Then it's back to the store for a full tasting and an imprinted AleWerks tasting glass for you to take home. It takes approximately 40 mintues and costs $8 per person over the age of 21. Bring in your ID with a Williamsburg address or a William and Mary or Thomas Nelson student ID (over 21 only) for a free tour during normal tour hours.

Please call (757) 220-3670 with questions or to make a reservation. Fridays and Saturdays fill very quickly so it is recommended to reserve at least 3 days in advance.

We look forward to seeing you and sharing our brews!

The Alewerks Brewery is a working brewery and our employees will continue to work throughout the tour.  Please be respectful of their workspace and follow the tour guides instructions in the brewery.
