DESCRIPTION:The Virginia Chefs Association (VCA) is hosting a 50th Anniversary Celebration and Fundraiser on Sunday\, Sept. 29\, from 2 to 5 p.m. at Alewerks Brewing Company.\nThe Oktoberfest-themed milestone event will feature an afternoon of food\, craft brews\, wine and live music in a festive atmosphere.\nAll-inclusive tickets are $85. A limited number of VIP tickets are also available for $135 and include early entry for exclusive cocktails\, hors d’oeuvres and sparkling wine toast with the chefs\, along with a 21oz. glass stein and $10 gift card from Alewerks.\nAll ticketholders will enjoy a selection of gourmet German dishes prepared by renowned local chefs\, most notably Hans Schadler\, former executive chef and culinary director for The Colonial Williamsburg Foundation.\nThis celebration is made possible thanks to sponsors Performance Food Service & Sanders Retirement Village.\nMust be 21 or over to attend.
