Stouts, lagers, IPAs, sours and more, 16 taps means the largest selection of Alewerks available and something to please every palate.

Grab a seat inside at our cozy taproom bar and tables, or take a tasting outside and enjoy our expansive outdoor seating area. Our house-made pretzels are pretty legendary too. You’ll also appreciate our ample on-site parking.

Housemade Pretzels

We like pretzels with our beer.

So we make pretzels – from scratch – on site at the Brewery Taproom. We’re talking pretzels that are made to order, buttery and delicious. If you know, you know and if you don’t you should. When you have something this good, you only need one thing on the menu. Want a side of beer cheese with that pretzel? We make that too, you guessed it, from scratch and on site.

Can we bring our own food?

Sure thing! Feel free to bring your own, but don’t miss our house-made pretzels and be sure to check the calendar to see if an area food truck is visiting. They appreciate your business!

Do you sell food?

We do in fact sell our house-made pretzels and beer cheese at the Brewery Taproom.

Do you sell wine?

Unfortunately, no. We like wine as much as the next person, but our hands are legally tied on this one. Should that change, we will let you know.

I don’t drink beer. Is there anything for me?

We’ve got plenty of non-alcoholic offerings for those who don’t drink and for the designated drivers. And we’ve got games for families plus stuff to take with you such as shirts, hats, glasses, and much more.

Do you fill growlers to-go?

Yes. 64 ounce growlers and 32 ounce crowlers are available in both locations. Yours or ours, it doesn’t matter to us. If you bring your own, just make sure it’s clean.

Where do I park?

Glad you asked. We have ample on-site, up-close parking in our lot directly in front of the Brewery Taproom.

Are pets allowed?

Pet are welcome outside in our Brewery Taproom beer garden or inside at the L.A.B. Water is available on request. Only service animals are allowed inside the brewery taproom, per VA Department of Health regulations.

Do you have live music?

Oh yes. Check our calendar above for specials, discounts and promotions.

What about smoking?

Sorry. No smoking or vaping is allowed on Alewerks premises.
